<p>Starbucks has been looking to enter India since 2007, when they tried partnering Kishor Biyani&#8217;s Future Group. Their plans had to be scrapped because Foreign Investment Promotion Board or FIPB which regulates inflow of foreign currency did not give approvals.</p>
<p>This time round, they are in talks with Jubilant Foodworks, India franchisee for Domino&#8217;s Pizza. A person close to the developments confirmed talks with Starbucks are at an early stage.</p>
<p>The organized market for the niche coffee retailing growing and has only a few players. The most dominant of these is Cafe Coffee Day. The market itself is valued at less than Rs 1000 Crore.</p>
